Pizza Hut Tinder Promotion

PROBLEM

To find an interesting way to encourage millennials to order online from the national pizza giant, Pizza Hut.

PROCESS

Our team for the NSAC 2015 Student Advertising Competition wanted to try to integrate ordering and social media in an unusual and interesting way. 

SOLUTION

Since Tinder is trending right now, and they don't allow advertising, we chose to use the app for a guerrilla promotion. We wrote profiles for both "male" and "female" pizzas so that anyone could get Pizza Hut as a match. The bios combine pizza and common Tinder flirty language to entice our target audience, and if they were intrigued enough to swipe right Pizza Hut would send them a message, also with slightly suggestive language and a coupon for pizza to be used on the app or online. 

While this was a total team effort, I was in charge of writing the copy for both the messages and the bios.
