Social Progress Imperative

PROBLEM

To create an eye-catching and cost effective guerrilla campaign raising awareness for the United States’ low rankings in the Social Progress Imperative.

PROCESS

The first step was finding a place to put this message, and with every town in America, having an abundance of benches and several bench and benchmark common phrases, it seemed a logical choice.

SOLUTION

We researched the places where the US ranked the lowest in the Imperative, then designed bar graph style bench latches that encouraged people to help change them and “put the USA back on top.” 

This was a team project with fellow student Elysia Crockett (pictured below).
